Advanced Rifle & Pistol Training Under Stress | Virginia

The Advanced Rifle & Pistol Course is designed for shooters who want to move beyond static range shooting and develop the ability to perform with their weapon systems while under physical stress and constant movement. This course integrates movement, elevated heart rate, and performance-based shooting drills to challenge students in ways traditional firearms classes do not. Students will engage in exercises that require physical exertion, forcing the body to work under fatigue and elevated heart rate conditions while maintaining weapon control, accuracy, and situational awareness. Training focuses on building the ability to manage breathing, control recoil, and maintain accurate shot placement while the body is under stress. Students will work through dynamic drills involving both rifle and pistol platforms, learning how to transition between weapons, move efficiently, and maintain accountability for every round fired. This is a high-intensity training environment designed to push shooters to refine their mechanics and develop performance habits that hold up when conditions are not ideal. Because of the demands of this course, students should already have a solid understanding of firearms safety and shooting fundamentals before attending. Vehicle Defense Training | Fighting In & Around Vehicles

Vehicles are one of the most common environments people find themselves in during violent encounters. Our Vehicle Defense Training Program is designed to teach students how to effectively defend themselves in and around vehicles, where movement is restricted and situational awareness becomes critical. This program focuses on understanding how vehicles affect mobility, cover, angles, and weapon manipulation. Students will learn how to safely operate their firearm while seated in a vehicle, how to exit a vehicle under pressure, and how to properly use a vehicle for protection while maintaining control of their weapon system. At Battle-Tested Training Group, this training is offered in two progressive tiers, allowing students to develop foundational skills before advancing into more complex defensive scenarios. Vehicle Defense Foundations This level introduces the core principles of defending yourself in and around a vehicle. Students will learn safe firearm handling inside a confined space, how to move efficiently in and out of the vehicle, and how to understand angles and cover when using a vehicle as protection. CQB Training Course | Close Quarters Battle Training in Virginia

Our Close Quarters Battle (CQB) Training Program is designed to develop the skills needed to operate effectively in confined spaces such as buildings, hallways, and tight environments. This training focuses on the principles of movement, positioning, communication, and weapon control that are essential when operating in close quarters. At Battle-Tested Training Group, our CQB program is structured in multiple tiers of training, allowing students to progressively build their skillset as they gain experience and confidence. Each tier expands on the previous level, introducing more complex movement, coordination, and decision-making inside structures. Students begin by learning the fundamental concepts of CQB, including angles, sectors of fire, safe weapon handling in confined spaces, and basic room entry concepts. As students move through higher tiers of training, they are introduced to team coordination, communication, and more advanced room clearing techniques designed to improve efficiency and situational awareness inside structures. Our instructors focus heavily on safety, proper positioning, and controlled movement, ensuring students develop disciplined habits while operating in complex environments. Training drills are designed to reinforce situational awareness, communication, and safe weapon manipulation while moving through close quarters spaces. The Intro to Night Fighting Course is designed for shooters who want to develop the foundational skills required to effectively operate a rifle in low-light and no-light environments. This course focuses on the practical application of white light techniques and the operational advantages of suppressed rifles during nighttime engagements. Students will learn how to properly integrate white light systems with their rifle platform, manage target identification in reduced visibility, and maintain control of their weapon system while operating in darkness. Instruction emphasizes the balance between illumination, movement, and maintaining situational awareness. Throughout the course, instructors guide students through structured drills that demonstrate how suppressed rifles can enhance communication, reduce signature, and improve overall control during night operations. Students will practice proper light activation, target discrimination, and engagement techniques while managing the unique challenges that come with operating in low-light conditions. Training scenarios are designed to build confidence, efficiency, and discipline when operating at night. Emphasis is placed on positive identification of threats, safe weapons handling, and maintaining control of the environment while utilizing white light effectively. Modern Gunfighter: Red Dot Pistol

Modern Gunfighter: Red Dot Pistol Battle-Tested Training Group | In partnership with GoWUTAR Optics The Intro to Red Dot Pistol Course is designed for shooters who want to learn how to effectively run a pistol equipped with a red dot optic. This course introduces students to the fundamentals of pistol-mounted optics and teaches the core skills required to build speed, accuracy, and consistency when shooting with a red dot. In partnership with GoWUTAR, this course provides students with a red dot optic included in the course cost, allowing participants to not only learn the system but leave the training with their own optic ready for continued practice and use. Students will learn how to properly mount and zero their red dot, understand the visual mechanics of target-focused shooting, and develop efficient presentation techniques that allow the optic to appear naturally during the draw stroke. Instruction focuses on building a reliable shooting process so shooters can confidently transition from iron sights to modern optic-equipped pistols. Throughout the course, instructors guide students through structured drills designed to improve target acquisition, recoil control, and follow-up shot efficiency. Emphasis is placed on proper grip, presentation, trigger control, and maintaining visual focus through the optic window. This course is ideal for both new shooters and experienced shooters transitioning to red dot pistols who want a solid foundation in the system. By the end of the course, students will understand how to properly set up, zero, and run a red dot pistol while developing the confidence and skill necessary to continue advancing with optic-equipped handguns.
